AMS Evo VIII Ported Race Head $1,750.00

The AMS EVO 8 ported head package is the same one that you will find on our 808 awhp EVO, and the same port job that all of our racecars receive. Our head features 1mm oversized Supertech valve springs and retainers. The valves are unshrouded and a race valve job is performed for optimum flow.

All kits include special heavy-duty pistons, which are designed and manufactured to perform flawlessly under the extreme heat and PRESSURE associated with turbocharged engines. Ideal for both street and serious competition, these pistons are loaded with extra features such as annular pin hole grooves with double forced oil holes to prevent pinhole galling, and taper lands to prevent scuffing. Extra thick lands for superior ring groove support under extreme pressure are made possible by intersecting the ring groove with the pinhole and using ROSS Oil Ring Support Rails. 4340 taper bore, hard-chromed extra heavy duty pins, along with Ross Racing Rings are included.

    ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to "aircraft" quality. Then, each stud is heat-treated to 190,000 psi. Every ARP stud kit exceeds the most stringent aerospace specifications. All kits come complete with hardened parallel-ground washers and aerospace quality nuts.

    Outstanding Stock Turbo Camshafts!

    In testing the Buddy Club 264/272 Camshaft set we were posting as much as 25 All wheel hp gains over the stock cams. The best part is they drive like a stock cam, smooth Idle and all.

    All Racing Spec camshafts are made from new billets of high nickel content iron alloy, not reground stock units, therefore equaling or exceeding the OE units they are designed to replace in terms of quality and workmanship. The camshafts are direct replacements and are designed to be compatible with the factory followers and valve springs.

    AMS recomends the 264/272 combo for stock turbo cars and 272/272 for higher Hp applications. When ordering please be sure to clarify 264/272 camshafts or if you would to go with 272/272 cams. Thank you
